Ceylon Sergo Exports, is a grower and an exporter of certified organic products based in the central province in Sri Lanka. Our journey into Organic Food Export begins when we (Ramesh & Yasoja) choose to utilize the resources we have had for centuries over our routine jobs. We both being descendants from agricultural based families, we had our own ancestral land which were organically grown but underutilized.

These lands were within our families for centuries and can be traced back to the era when Kings were ruling Sri Lanka. The history reveals that these lands are being given by the king as grants for his faithful noble offices and being pass on to their decedents. The soil of these lands are not being chemically treated and the trees are grown in an environmental friendly manner keeping the natural habitats untouched. Most of the trees can be traced back to over half a century.

We decided to utilize the experience we both had gained by working in the organic food export industry and outside to get a better market for our products while creating a platform for the community farmers to get a better livelihood. With this expectation, in December 2016, we kept our first step toward making this dream a success.

We are a grower and an exporter of certified organic spices, herbs, coconut kernel products, dried fruits and a range of jackfruit products. All our products are processed in ISO 22000 certified facilities to maintain the quality of our products.

Currently our products are available in ICA and City Gross supermarket chains in Sweden and also our jackfruit product is the winner of the Good Food award 2019 in Germany under our customer’s brands. We guarantee our customers a hassle free import and a consistent supply. We currently export to Sweden, Germany, Denmark, UK, USA, and Canada with repeat orders.

We as a team has been successful so far and our courage and hard work has brought us to where we are today.
